Scope and Content Note
The collection consists of photographic negatives and contact sheets created by Aerial Innovations of Georgia, Inc., documenting building and infrastructure projects throughout metropolitan Atlanta from 1991-2005. The negatives and contact sheets document all stages of construction of various apartment buildings, arenas, highways, houses, housing developments, office buildings, and roads from an aerial perspective. The collection also includes handwritten log books that inventory each negative and contact sheet.

Historical Note
Aerial Innovations of Georgia, Inc., is an Atlanta-based commercial aerial photography company. The company was founded by Sheri Christianson in 1991. The company specializes in aerial photography taken using helicopters, airplanes, and drones. Aerial Innovations of Georgia, Inc., primarily works on "progress photography" that documents construction projects through aerial photographs on a monthly basis. These construction projects have included the Georgia Dome, Turner Field, Concourse E and the International Terminal at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, Georgia State Route 400 roadwork, venues for the 1996 Olympic Games, SunTrust Park, and the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, all in Atlanta, Georgia. The company also shoots architectural photography and interiors.
