Scope and Content Note

The collection consists of oral history interviews with Georgia nurses conducted by Margaret Parsons, Rose Cannon and others from 1986-1992, including audiotapes containing recordings of interviews, transcripts, case files of the project containing biographical information, and release forms.

The Georgia Nursing Oral History Project is the outcome of a project funded with grants from the Emory University Research Committee and managed by Margaret Parson, professor in Emory's Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing.
